We begin at Phnom Chisor, an historically significant site in Cambodia built in the 11th century. Located about 62 kilometers south of Phnom Penh in Takeo Province, its history is primarily defined by the ancient temple complex, Prasat Phnom Chisor, perched atop a 130-meter-high hill.

Oudong holds significant historical importance in Cambodia, having served as the royal capital for over 250 years during the post-Angkorian period. It now functions as a nursing home, shelter, and education center for underprivileged children in Cambodia. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about Buddhist practices in Cambodia and around the world. Afterward, you'll have the experience of walking up 303 steps to the hilltop to enjoy a magnificent view of rice paddies and the stupas of former Cambodian kings 🇰ðŸ‡.
